It’s been a busy weekend here in Payne Country. I’m prepping for my trip to AR to do some wheeling, and we’re also trying to get our garden started. Between working on the jeep, the garden, and finding out the Explorer needs ball joints, I got some done, but not as much as I wanted to. The auto work seemed to fight me at every corner, but at least the garden is coming along.
Adrienne and I finish tilled the garden bed. It seems to be growing as we continue to learn and decide we want more fresh food from the garden. We’d eventually like to be able to create a complete meal from what we grow, and I don’t think it’ll be that hard ouside of any meat we want. Last night, we had meatloaf, green beans, mashed potatoes, and a salad that had two types of lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, and cabbage. We did well with potatoes and tomatoes last season, so that’s a great start, now we just have to add in the rest.
I put some pics of the fun below.
Well, it’s off to do some more work. Talk to you later…
